You Say You Want a Revolution: Status and Future- Part 2

On July 1, 2026, the publisher of my book, Defiance Press & Publishing, went out of business. Another irony. Three days before the 250-year anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the publisher whose tag line was Liberty-Truth-Freedom ceased operations.
Now the “R” word (revolution) is all around us. In reflecting back on this journey, it’s hard to reconcile what has taken place. Worse it’s chilling to think of what lies ahead. Having studied extremism and terrorism for decades, it’s easy to predict what’s coming next. Yet, just as most ignored the obvious with two competing movements being pitted against each other, we will also largely ignore the signs of increasing political, racial, and religious violence.
In closing, my book framed these seeds that are now coming to pass. But now the book is “out of print” as the publisher has turned off the lights. Will the lights also go off in this country? I don’t want to abandon the country or the book…
I hope this matters to you…it does to me.
