The Epilogue

This post concludes The Revolution Chronicles. For those who don’t know, over three years ago, my latest book “Revolution” was published. A year after its publication, I started the chronicles.In total, 176 incidents, events, or volatile comments were chronicled, each illustrating the book’s theme. After much time and effort, it’s clear that LinkedIn is not the right forum for this work.When the book was published, and chronicles started, few saw what I described as a “revolutionary climate.” Since this is a complicated and controversial premise, I devoted hundreds of hours telling the story of a pending revolution.Admittedly, I “hoped” that people would care enough to read the book and to change. Even better, that opposing ideological movements would tap down the dangerous collision course that now seems destined to occur.Instead, it’s clear that people are on one side or the other. Explaining what is coming, without advocating for what will ultimately destroy us, has been both a personal and professional challenge…Now it’s clear to me that the “R” word is so radioactive that even my friends ignored it. Though predictable, I rest knowing that I tried.

The End Game…

Reaching the reasonable limit of this exercise, I still hope and pray that reasonable minds will prevail. As circumstances escalate, and as violent incidents increase, please step back and ask yourself these questions:What is the end game of these opposing movements:God or the Earth…?Nationalism or Globalism…?Family or Government…?Though no one knows how the coming years will play out, here is how I described our destiny in my book:“Something big is coming. Is it a civil war? Or an ideological war? Or a redemption? Or a revival? A political earthquake? A revolution?”In the end, I see this as a cosmic struggle. All we can do is care and seek to do the right thing.I’ll leave you with these words from 1 COR 16: 13-14 “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.”
