The Revolution Chronicles- Part III

Is the “climate” getting hotter…?

No, not climate change. But the “revolutionary climate” I wrote about almost two years years. The publication of You Say You Want a Revolution: A Compelling & Cautionary Tale of What Lies Ahead was my attempt to sound an alarm. As the months tick on, so does the ideological civil war.

Realizing that most people do not–or cannot come to this frightening conclusion, I write not to convince, but to chronicle. So, once again, please connect your own dots…or for a quick “look-see” of this author, check out:

The Making of an American Radical

By Jillian Kay Melchior, WSJ, June 21, 2024

This insightful piece tells the story of a talented and ideological driven young woman who “evolved” are political campaigning for Democratic Senator Ed Markey toward increasing stringent behavior, including rioting and burglary charges. One powerful quote can summarize the entire article–and tells a larger “cautionary tale.”

“Look on social media, and you’ll see that Palestine Action and Calla Walsh have comrades—a motley crew of anarchists, self-proclaimed antifascists, environmentalists, socialists, communists and other radical leftists. In their memes and posts, they make the case that the war against Israel and efforts to abolish the police are facets of the same revolution. Like the Markeyverse, they are a community of stans, but they have no patience for democracy or the rule of law.”

Right Wing Revolution: How to Beat the Woke and Save the West

By Charlie Kirk, Published on June 18, 2024

“The United States of America has long been the lone beacon of freedom and sensibility in a chaotic world. Now, she is under threat from a lethal ideology that seeks to humiliate and erase anyone who does not bow at its altar. The threat in question? Wokeism. In Right Wing Revolution: How to Beat the Woke and Save the West, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk drags wokeism out of the shadows and details the exact steps needed to stop its toxic spread. Right Wing Revolution is not a cautionary tale. Wokeism has already seeped into every aspect of American society. Instead, Charlie Kirk looks to inform and prepare every reader for the coming confrontation against one of the most existential threats the United States has ever faced” [emphasis added].

By Nellie Bowles, Published on May 14, 2024 @ Here is the description of the book:

“In Morning After the Revolution, Bowles gives readers a front-row seat to the absurd drama of a political movement gone mad. With irreverent accounts of attending a multiday course on “The Toxic Trends of Whiteness,” following the social justice activists who run “Abolitionist Entertainment LLC,” and trying to please the New York Times’s “disinformation czar,” she deftly exposes the more comic excesses of a movement that went from a sideshow to the very center of American life.”

‘Revolutionary youth summer program’ to turn students into Gaza activists

Another chilling piece where a major Canadian university is training students in the fine art of radicalism. Consider these quotes:

“At McGill University, the Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights (SPHR) group has announced that it will be making a “revolutionary youth summer program” at its Gaza encampment. It used men holding machine guns to advertise for the program.”

“In a post on social media, the group stated, “We pledge to educate the youth of Montreal and redefine McGill’s ‘elite’ [institutional] legacy by [transforming] its space into one of revolutionary education.'”

“The daily schedule will include physical activity, Arabic language instruction, cultural crafts, political discussions, historical and revolutionary lessons,” the post added… Accompanying the announcement for the youth camp was an image of men wearing keffiyehs and clutching machine-guns.”

The Hatred of “Whiteness” Is a Hatred of Christianity

“It’s an evil ideology that turns the idea of God-blessed obedience on its head. It says Western prosperity is not the fruit of righteousness, but the result of sin.”

By Ben Davis, June 8, 2024

The opening sentence to this powerful piece explains its thesis:

“The “anti-whiteism” we often see propagated under the guise of “anti-racism” is not just about skin color, because it’s not merely the color of skin they find objectionable. What’s offensive is what that skin color has come to represent: Christianity.”

Rep. Maxine Waters says Trump supporters should be investigated: ‘Are they preparing a civil war?’

By Jeffrey Clark Fox News, June 3, 2024

Some quotes from the illustrious congresswoman say it all:

“Are they preparing a civil war against us?” she continued. “Should we be concerned about our safety? What is [Trump] doing with this divisive language? It is dangerous.”

“How far is this going to go?” Waters asked. “Are they going to be attacking? Whom are they going to attack? What are we going to do? We’re trying to get an investigation going about that.”

The ‘Appeal to Heaven’ flag evolves from Revolutionary War symbol to banner of the far right

BY Gary Fields, Lisa Mascaro and Farnoush Amiri, May 23, 2024

The wording on the flag is from John Locke, who wrote that when the people’s rights are being denied, and they “have no appeal on earth, then they have a liberty to appeal to heaven.” (quote from WSJ, May 24, 2024)

Ted Kaye, secretary for the North American Vexillological Association, which studies flags and their meaning, said the “Appeal to Heaven” banner dates to the Revolutionary War…

According to Jared Holt, a senior analyst at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a London-based think tank that tracks online hate, disinformation and extremism. “Some fans of it identify with a ‘patriot’ movement that obsesses over the Founding Fathers and the American Revolution,” he said. “Others adhere to a Christian nationalist worldview that seeks to elevate Christianity in public life.”

Boston council member calling for ‘revolution’ alarms liberal colleagues with wild tirades, threats

From the start, Tania Fernandes Anderson stated her goal for City Council was to create a ‘revolution’ for ‘equity’

By Hannah Grossman, Fox News, May 24, 2024

“A Democratic Boston city council member, who called to “dismantle the White backdrop” in America and “create a revolution,” is starting to disturb her liberal colleagues with her wild antics and threats…”

Since being elected, she stated her goal was to create a “revolution” for “equity.” “It will be about equity and I hope we don’t have too many disagreements in there,” she said in an interview in December 2021. “I think that systemic racism is long overdue for us to overthrow it in order for us to create a revolution that brings about change.”
